Mobile Phone & IPad Templating

Almost all phones are now able to access and show websites, which means more and more people every day are viewing sites this way. It is very important to make sure these viewers have a great experience and get the right information they are looking for.

Not many designers or developers realise this, but phones/tablets such as the iPhone/iPad have their own built in system, which allows you to specify meta tags which control the max and min zoom, set screen size, font types to name a few. We can also specify an entirely different set of CSS classes forcing the site to look differently than it would on a computer browser, due to the mobile browser adding a sub tag, which allows you to filter it out in the style sheet.

This will all be talked about and shown with advise on where to find resources with detailed information for when your back at work.

A full Q&A time will be allocated at the end of the session, so you can ask questions to international professionals with years of experience for advice and guidance.
