Joomla 1.5 - 1.7 Migration

Sponsored By  Inch Consulting

In Jan 2008, a fully revamped version of Joomla! (1.5) was released. Then, in January 2011, Joomla! 1.6.0 was released with some huge changes and a list of new features. In July 2011, Joomla 1.7.0 was released which added additional functionality.

Using a worked example Andrew Rose of Inch Consulting will guide you through the upgrade process and answer questions on what you need to watch out for.

Of course if you have a website built in anything older than the current version, you will want to update your website to the latest form. This sessions covers the methods of doing this, what tools you will need, and also how to jump entire versions and what adjustments to extensions will be needed.

A full Q&A time will be allocated at the end of the session, so you can ask questions to international professionals with years of experience for advice and guidance.
